Walking

Inspired by Bruce Gilden's photographs and working methods, this project focuses on portraits of individuals aware of being constantly observed within a culture of posing, presented as spontaneously, without masks, and stripped of personal roles as possible. The diversity of people in Istanbul has added great visual and cultural richness to the work. This project also has the characteristics of documentary photography. For the artist, who points his lens and flash at strangers on the street, this work is not only a technical challenge but also an ethical and psychological one.
